Application Guide

How To Apply Stop Fog Laminate:

Installation Solution for room temperature installs (Mirrors, Auto Glass, etc.):

Madico window solution concentrate ( WSC 30-1-1), Gila Film Aid concentrate, Rite-On, or baby shampoo mixed with water at a ratio between 30:1 and 10:1.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Clean glass with Windex or installation solution
  2. Remove protective mask from adhesive side of film and wet adhesive side of film with installation solution
  3. Apply film to glass, position, and inspect for/remove any particulate trapped between film and glass
  4. Squeegee solution out with stiff rubber squeegee
  5. Squeegee edges with a squeegee wrapped with a paper towel to wick out additional installation solution
  6. Remove protective mask from fog resistant coating on the film

Installation Solution for heated and non-heated doors:

100% Propylene glycol (RV & Marine Antifreeze) sold under the name Super Tech at Wal*Mart. It may be possible to use other brands or a pure form purchased from a chemical company but testing is recommended before attempting an install. It is known that the RV & Marine Antifreeze from Home Depot does not work.

This product has NSF 51 approval and is safe for food contact in a splash zone.
