Application Guide
How To Apply Stop Fog Laminate:
Installation Solution for room temperature installs (Mirrors, Auto Glass, etc.):
Madico window solution concentrate ( WSC 30-1-1), Gila Film Aid concentrate, Rite-On, or baby shampoo mixed with water at a ratio between 30:1 and 10:1.
Installation Instructions:
- Clean glass with Windex or installation solution
- Remove protective mask from adhesive side of film and wet adhesive side of film with installation solution
- Apply film to glass, position, and inspect for/remove any particulate trapped between film and glass
- Squeegee solution out with stiff rubber squeegee
- Squeegee edges with a squeegee wrapped with a paper towel to wick out additional installation solution
- Remove protective mask from fog resistant coating on the film
Installation Solution for heated and non-heated doors:
100% Propylene glycol (RV & Marine Antifreeze) sold under the name Super Tech at Wal*Mart. It may be possible to use other brands or a pure form purchased from a chemical company but testing is recommended before attempting an install. It is known that the RV & Marine Antifreeze from Home Depot does not work.
This product has NSF 51 approval and is safe for food contact in a splash zone.
